A large-scale franchise-like network of low-cost for-profit private primary schools to provide access to affordable high-quality education for poor families across Sub Saharan Africa.

Over 900 students enrolled in 7 schools, proved that you can deliver high-quality education for US$3.75/month on a profitable basis.

Impact

BIA uses an outside educational testing company to administer and score internationally recognized exams to monitor student achievement. Preliminary data indicates that BIA students are already performing 60-100% higher in core reading skills than comparable students.
