To provide non-formal education and livelihood training to marginalized groups.

BUSINESS MODEL

Offering free non-formal education and professional training to children that work in Phnom Penh’s largest municipal trash dump.  PIO fills the educational gap in neighborhoods where schooling is not available and provides children with food, clean water, health services and a bag of rice to make up for lost income.

There are currently 930 children enrolled from kindergarten to grade 9 in three outreach centers, PIO has served over 2,000 children over the last 7 years.
