Individuals are screened using a form called a PHQ9, which is a recognized set of questions that enables StrongMinds to diagnose if someone has depression or not.

Weekly group interpersonal psychotherapy sessions are held and facilitated by trained MHF's (mental health facilitators). There are now more than 240 individuals in 29 therapy groups.
